WHAT IS SECTION 8?
Section VIII began as a program during World War II as a means to discharge those deemed unfit (a.k.a. too fuckin’ nuts) for military service. (Think Corporal Klinger from M*A*S*H; he was trying to get a Section VIII out of the service.)
Now,
decades later, Section 8 Ink celebrates those society has
deemed “unfit.” The thrill-seekers, the crazies, the weirdos — you are
Section
8. We’re not just looking to put clothes on your back, or a hat on your
head;
we’re looking to support your lifestyle. What others call “crazy,” you
call “normal.” Because you know life isn’t about walking with the herd,
life is about getting
lost in order to discover who you are as a person. It’s about new
experiences,
in new places, with new people. It's about the rest of the world
labeling you as "unfit for service," but proving them wrong with every
step you take.
